Although the hospital’s central location in the heart of Bat Yam provides convenient accessibility to public transportation, it also presents a “challenge” when it comes to having open spaces for patients and their families. Therefore, we are committed to opening a rooftop cafeteria at the hospital (where there are already two rooftop gardens) to provide patients with recreational and relaxation areas.

Hydrotherapy Treatment Pool

  • The pool will be built on the hospital’s rooftop, with a body of water that is an integral part of the treatment and rehabilitation process.
  • The therapeutic pool will accommodate 300–400 treatments each month, providing a professional, tailored solution for patients requiring acute rehabilitation and water therapy.

Why Hydrotherapy?

  • Orthopedic Rehabilitation: Enhances mobility and reduces pain for pre- and post-surgery patients.
  • Chronic Pain Relief: Benefits conditions like fibromyalgia and multiple sclerosis, easing discomfort and improving quality of life.
  • Neurological Improvement: Supports recovery for Parkinson’s and brain injury patients by boosting physical and emotional health.
  • Emotional Wellness: The calming effects of warm water reduce anxiety, promote relaxation, and enhance responsiveness to treatment.

Cafeteria for the Comfort of Patients and Their Families

  • The cafeteria will be built on the rooftop alongside existing rooftop gardens, providing a relaxation area and recreational space.
  • The cafeteria can comfortably accommodate around 80 people at any given time. Together with the rooftop gardens, it offers a relaxation area for patients and their families, supporting up to 250 people at once.
  • The total rooftop area is about 1,200 square meters, of which the cafeteria will occupy about 350 square meters, while the therapy pool will cover another 100 square meters.
